...Where people of diverse faiths, cultures, backgrounds and ages come together to practice peace with self, peace with others, and peace with the Earth with One Mind, One Voice, One Heart and One Prayer.
The host tradition is Native American, joined by spiritual leaders and representatives from major faiths, spiritual beliefs and anyone who wants to be part of this magical, exhilarating and peaceful experience.
Each year, a sacred fire burns continuously in the center of a circle of tipis, African and Christian alters, a Jewish sukkah, a Tibetan stupa and other religious traditions' symbols. There is a labyrinth, a Prayer Grove, a children's activity area and other offerings.
Prayers and ceremonies are continuous for 33 hours concluding midday Sunday, October 19.
Experience nature's rhythms expressed in music, ritual and prayer by cultures east and west, far and wide. Hear African drumming along with the Japanese Taiko drummers.

It's called Proposition 2, a measure on the ballot in California that The New York Times endorsed last week. Prop 2 will end the practice of cramming farm animals into cages and crates so small the animals can’t even turn around, lie down, or extend their limbs. If passed, it will be the biggest victory for farm animals in U.S. history.
Prop 2 is truly a national campaign: While only Californians get to vote on it, its passage will lead to reforms in farming practices nationwide.
But standing in the way is Big Agribusiness, which has poured millions of dollars into a deceptive campaign to defeat Prop 2 and preserve factory farms' cruel confinement practices. PREDICTION: PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION 2008 BARACK OBAMA OR JOHN MCCAIN?

The energy of the 2008 elections has fluctuated so much
over the past several months, and honestly for 2 years it has
been seen that Hillary Clinton was to be elected as the next president of the United Sates (POTUS). Of course, the democratic
nomination did not go to her, and instead went to Barack Obama.
Today, September 22, 2008, I "saw" a newspaper
headline with a picture of Barack Obama on
the cover, announcing he had won the 2008
presidential election. I believe at this time, that is the
headline that we will be seeing in November - Barack Obama
wins the presidential election.
After Hilary did NOT get the nomination, I meditated on WHY
Barack was moved to the forefront. The message that I got, was
that with his mixed heritage, and his 'Muslim sounding' name, it
would actually help the image of the United States with the populaces
of the middle eastern nations. How? Many of the general populations
in these countries have been raised to believe that people in the west,
The US and Britain especially, hate the Muslim nations. By the election
of a man with a name and background that they may find somewhat
relatable - they may begin to realize that the west does NOT HATE
THE MUSLIM WORLD. A good step towards peace.
I am not talking about the leaders of these countries, but rather the
populace that has been led for decades to believe that all Muslims
around the world are hated by the western (non-Muslim) nations.
I always believe God has a greater plan - unless man substantially interferes
as happened in the 2000 and 2004 elections. Water under the bridge, we
have to deal with the hand we were dealt (by election fraud).
It was seen for years that Al Gore was to be elected president of the United States, in the 2000 election, and that he would also win again the 2004 election (as sitting president), and by popular election - HE DID WIN in 2000!
We would not be in the military position we are in now if he had been elected, and I feel that 9-11 would NOT have happened if he had become (rightfully) President of the United States.
He has however, like Jimmy Carter, used his life to continue to help not
only the US, but the world by taking on the issue of the global environment.
Truly a great soul. In the long run, like former President Jimmy Carter,
he will probably have a far greater and reaching impact on the good of the
world by not being bound by the office of President of the United States.
A great example of turning lemons into not only lemonade - but lemon
meringue pie! (one of my favorite sayings from spirit)
For the 2008 elections, may we visualize fairness, honesty, end of corruption,
end of vote manipulation, and a return to higher ethics and standards, and
that the next president of the United States SURROUNDS himself (or herself)
with the highest possible group of advisors, counselors and cabinet members for
the good of the US, and the rest of the global community.

The Internet has now become THE PRIMARY PLACE that people go to get their "daily fix" of entertainment. It's where they go for videos, celebrity gossip, music, uncensored and non-FCC controlled radio, and now TV. Yes, it is estimated that more than 45% of people now watch TV online.
The bottom line is...we have broadcast our show on regular Radio for many years. We were one of the major success stories that set records in our field. But regular Radio is no longer an outlet for talent that wants to broaden it's horizons or speak freely to it's audience. It's time for a new chapter.

Throughout history, human beings have quested to realize the meaning and purpose of life. For countless generations, people have been asking the same questions; Who am I? Why am I here? It’s as if we have forgotten our true essence and have fallen into a deep sleep. Once in a great while an enlightened being comes amongst us to illuminate the truth and nudge us in our awakening. Krishna, Confucius, Buddha, Jesus the Christ, Mohammad and others have come and taught those who would listen in a manner appropriate for their time.
Today in India, and around the world, hundreds of thousands of people have recognized one suchenlightened being: Acharya Mahamandelashwar Yug Purush Shri Swami Parmanandji Giri MaharajAffectionately known as: Swami Ji or Maharaj Ji
In 1938 during the dark of the moon on the auspicious day of Deepawli, the festival celebrating the light returning, Swami Parmanandji was born. Swamiji grew up in a small village of Mavai Dham in Northern India. As a child he would spend hours meditating and standing on one leg in the sacred river, seeking the ultimate truth. While other children of his age played when they got out of school, the boy named Parmanand sought the company of the elders and wise ones. The Great Saint Sri Swami Akandnandji Maharaji recognized the boy’s qualities and took him as a disciple. In order to attain spiritual knowledge, Parmanand renounced the worldly life leaving his home and family. Under his guru’s guidance he became versed in the Hindu scriptures as well as becoming a master of yoga and meditation.
While still a youth he was initiated into Sainthood as Swami Parmanandji. After becoming a Saint and Guru, Swami Parmanand Maharaj did not retreat into the Himalayas but instead entered into society to share the gifts of his experiential knowledge. He chose the path of a Karma Yogi and dedicated his life for the welfare of humanity.
Today, his full title is, Yug Purush Acharya Mandeleswhar Swami Parmanandji. He is notably being honored and recognized as the Saint of this era. In Celebration of the 50th anniversary of his Sainthood, hundreds of thousands of devotees recently came from around the globe, to this tiny remote village to pay tribute to this great teacher. As an enlightened scholar, yoga master, teacher and philosopher, Swamiji now has a following of tens of thousands from all around the world, and hundreds of thousands in India.For 5 decades, Swami Parmanand has been guiding others to their own self-realization and working towards the betterment of humanity. Mayan Calendar Prophecies for the Year 2012
MAYAN CALENDAR AND THE YEAR 2012
MAYAN PROPHECIES BASED ON THE MAYAN CALENDAR

Everyone hears about the different prophecies on how humanity will end. From the Bible predictions of the rapture and the Antichrist, to Nostradamus's prediction of the Planet Comet, people hear theories and see evidence of our civilization coming to an end. However, the most striking of these prophecies lies in the predictions of an ancient, but highly sophisticated Mayan calendar. The deciphering and understanding of the calendar is whole other story in it's own, so I'll get straight to the point. The Mayan calendar is actually a combination of 3 calendars. The religious calendar, the solar calendar, and the Long Count. For the sake of this discussion, I wont get into detail about the whole calendar and just stick to the Long Count. The Long Count can record any day in history because it is supposedly the measure of days from the beginning of humanity to the end.
The number system used for the Long Count is completely different than our decimal, 10 based number system. Instead, the Mayans used 5 sets of numbers separated with a decimal. A typical Long Count number would look like this:
12.15.14.16.14
The first day of the Long Count is labeled 0.0.0.0.1 which is the equivalent to August 11th, 3114 BC. on our current Gregorian Calendar. The Long Count calendar ends at 12.19.19.17.20 which is the equivalent to December 21, 2012. Now this doesn't necessarily mean that humanity will come to an end on this date, but it is the date when the calendar ends.
But who cares what an ancient civilization thinks? They didn't have any of the scientific knowledge, nor did they have any of the technology that we have now. Why should we be worried? Let's look at this date from a scientific point of view.
First of all, every 11 years our Sun goes through what's called a solar cycle (pole shift, magnetic reversal). During the peak time of the cycle, the Sun's magnetic poles switch. The magnetic field of the Sun does a 180. But remember, this is a 180 degree magnetic flip. The physical part of Sun doesn't actually flip. Anyway, during the peak time of this "flip" sunspots and solar flares become more frequent. This is what's called the "solar maximum".
"Solar flares are pieces of the sun which leap into space, discharging radiation and strong electrical currents that travel outward into space. They often fall back to the surface of the Sun. Sometimes, a very strong flare, called a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME), actually leaves the Sun and this deadly mass shoots out from the Sun towards the planets like a bullet. They usually don't hit anything, but they occasionally hit a planet like Earth. Most flares are small, but even a small flares can be dangerous. In 1989 a flare hit the North American continent and fried electric lines, zapped power grids in the US and Canada, and created large power blackouts. Flares can also effect our moods and physical health. In theory, a large flare impacting the Earth could zap the ionosphere and irradiate the surface, killing every living organism that it touched."
During early 2001, the Sun's solar cycle was completed and the Sun switched magnetic poles, so the Sun is due for another cycle in the year 2012.
Well, who cares if the Sun flips again? it flips every 11 years so why should the next flip be any different?
The solar cycle of 2012 is more significant than any other for several reasons:
1. During this time the two biggest planets in our solar system, Saturn and Jupiter, will be in line with each other. The gravitational effects of the two planets on the Sun will cause it to wobble during it's pole shift. This can have huge effects on the magnitude of the CME's the Sun will be tossing into space. The Earth regularly gets hit with small CME's and research says that the increased magnitude of these CME's are one of the major causes of global warming, and changes in the ecosystem.
2. Right now the Sun's south magnetic pole is in line with the Earth's north magnetic pole. Since opposites attract, the Sun, along with it's gravitational influence from Saturn and Jupiter, may cause the Earth to switch magnetic poles too! With the magnetic field of the Earth switching in a matter of minutes, there can be huge disruptions in the Earth's geological and ecological system. It can cause mass earthquakes and volcano eruptions all over the world. After it's all done, compasses will point South, the Sun will rise in the West and set in the East. But remember, this is a magnetic switch only.
3. The most far fetched possibility and probably the most catastrophic is the phenomenon called "polar wander". Polar wander is a result of the Earth's outer crust shifting at a rapid rate. The magnetic poles stay put but Antarctica becomes the equator and the tropics become the North Pole. I really don't have to stress why a polar wander could be catastrophic because if you picture a phenomenon like this happening in a matter of minutes, you can understand why. There is evidence of a polar wander occurring before in the distant past due to the fossils of Coral in Greenland and Woolly Mammoth bones found in Central America. Of course, in order for a polar wander to occur, it would take a huge amount of imbalance, like an asteroid collision, in the Earth to trigger it.
4. The final event that will occur on December 21, 2012 will be at 11:12 GMT. It's a phenomenon that the Mayans referred to as the "Sacred Tree" and it happens every 25,800 years. At that time our Sun will line up directly with the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. For thousands of years, our solar system has been hovering around the top of the galactic plane and this galactic alignment could have huge effects on our solar system.
"The ecliptic cross over the Milky Way at a 60 degree angle near the constellation Sagittarius. As such, it forms a cross with the Milky Way, and this cosmic cross was called the Sacred Tree by the ancient Maya. (The cross form was also known as the "crossroads." Amazingly, the center of this cosmic cross, that is right where the ecliptic crosses over the Milky Way is exactly where the December solstice sun will be in A.D. 2012. This alignment occurs only once every 25,800 years."
There is supposedly a black hole in the middle of the Milky Way holding everything together. Our solar system is around the outer edge of the disc. When our solar system lines up with center of the galaxy, we will be at the strongest part of the galaxy's magnetic field where there is maximum gravitation. So, with the Sun's solar cycle being at it's maximum, the alignment of Saturn and Jupiter, and the alignment of the sun with the equator of the Milky Way, this will REALLY cause an increase in the magnitude of the Sun's solar flares. Of course the gravitational complexities will also have an influence on whether or not the Earth will undergo a magnetic pole shift. There is also speculation that the Earth may reverse its rotation since we'll be in the opposite hemisphere of the galaxy!
